Martello Tower Y wins LPOC award 14 years after completion

Awarded in the Residential Remodelling and Refurbishment of the Year category by LPOC, Martello Tower Y was cited as a 'fine example of combining contemporary architecture with a historic building.. and delivering a project that makes its own contribution to the special architectural interest of the listed building.' 

Martello Tower Y was completed in 2010 so this award was a welcome surprise and, though the studio has matured and developed its skills, this award serves as a reminder of how consideration for materials, sensitivity to context and technical ingenuity remain core tenets of Piercy&Company's design approach.
