Piercy&Company Labs in the City breakfast event
Piercy&Company hosted a ‘Labs in the City’ Breakfast event on Thursday 27th July.
A really interesting and informative conversation, where we discussed whether London is good for Labs and if Labs are good for London. Could retrofit really become the norm for lab space; how a dispersed, networked London campus could compete with dedicated out-of-town models; the critical scale of development to make Labs economically viable, how trailblazing Camden's policies are with regards to social governance in life science projects, and that scientists are NOT fine in basements.
Thank you so much to AKT II, Arup, British Land, Buro Happold, CBRE, Dickens Architecture and Gerald Eve for attending this event.
