Piercy&Company to deliver the UK's largest all-timber structure, net-zero office building
Camden Council unanimously voted to approve Piercy&Company's design for the UK's largest all-timber structure office building. The innovative, sustainably led project for Global Holdings is set to outperform the UK Green Building Council's Net Zero Office target by over 50%.
Located on the site of the former Holborn Town Hall on the south-east corner of Gray's Inn Road and Clerkenwell Road, the 95,000 sq ft building will include eight floors of light filled contemporary workspace, a communal rooftop garden, five landscaped terraces, a restaurant and an active commuting hub.
Operational carbon emissions are expected to be up to 82% lower than a typical office, exceeding the GLA and Camden policy targets for sustainability and energy efficiency.
