Three Rathbone Place

Derwent London

Three self-contained workspaces in a refurbished central London block.

Three Rathbone Place
Derwent London

Three Rathbone Place comprises three new self-contained, fully furnished workspace units and a lobby-style reception inspired by traditional shop fronts in an existing 1980s building in London's Fitzrovia.

Spread over 6000 sqft, the project builds upon Piercy&Company's experience of designing new flexible workplaces for modern businesses, resulting from deep insight and understanding of the needs and attitudes of occupants today. Designed with a focus on collaboration that can take place in-person and digitally, each unit includes a variety of spaces, combining desks for group work, informal social space, meeting rooms, workstations, and private booths.

With sustainability at the heart of the brief, the studio focused on maximising natural light in the building and sustainable materials for the fit-out, specifying high-quality and durable furniture and finishes, including end-grain timber flooring, painted wall panelling and a curated collection of mid-century style furniture. Each unit also enables tenants to personalise their space through the inclusion of bespoke shelving, vitrines, and wall niches for artwork, resulting in a look and feel more akin to a members club or boutique hotel than a typical office.

The project features an efficient all-electric plant and energy management systems to maximise efficiency and occupier control.
